I saw this truck on the way to school. It had a split front window, like an H1, but the body was much more curvy. It was also really high off the ground. The grille has 3 or 4 rows of circular holes and it had two small-ish round headlights on either side, aligned with the bottom of the grille. The roof reminded me of a bowler wildcat. It was fairly curvy and there were no rear side windows as far as I could tell. I passed it in the opposite direction so I didn't get to see the back and I couldn't read the badge on the front, which was located above the grille. I could tell the badge looked like a name written in a heavily stylized font, maybe 5 or 6 letters. Anyone know what it could be? It's bothering me that I have no idea what it was. Sorry about the 30 second sketch.

A year range would help a lot.
Side looks like an International Scout.
But the grill is totally different. Also, are you in the US?

That, good Sir, is a drawing.

My heart wants to say it's a super cool custom bowler but my brain tells it to stop talking so much bs.

It definitely looked modern. 10 years old or newer. Yes I'm in the US, Salt Lake City to be exact. It wasn't a Scout. It looked a lot newer.

Thats what I thought at first but the front fascia is completely different

Nope. I'm sure it wasn't a Toyota.

It's possible that it was a bowler with a custom front fascia. Is that something that exists?
![]() 09/11/2013 at 23:36 |

Nope, that's not it. The body was a lot wider, like a bowler.

Bowler EXR/Nemesis? It has a front fascia closer to what you're talking about than a traditional Bowler, 4 head lights w/ circles in the grill.

Nope, I'm sure it wasn't a bowler. As far as size and shape, the front end looked a lot like this:
except the grille and lights were different. It was also completely different from the windshield back.

What about a late '50s Dodge panel van?

Nope, it looked modern. I would guess no older than 10 years.

The only thing I'm left with is that the split window means some kind of kit or mini-manufacturer, because of limited ability to produce contours with anything but fiberglass. The double small headlights also speak to that, as distinct round lights are pretty much abandoned by everybody major. Otherwise, I'm stumped.

That's what I'm thinking. It must be something custom or very low volume.

Maybe having looked at it too quickly (or simply not long enough) confused you a little? A super sized front skid plate, a couple extra flood lights, and it's pretty damn close...the split window part however....
